Knowledge of Charlotte County Properties...
I was in kindergarten when my parents moved to Punta Gorda in 1952. The population of the entire county was only 4,000 and to get here, my father had to travel on the two lane Tampa to Miami Trail also called the Tamiami Trail or Highway 41. At that time, there were no homes to buy and only two homes available to rent- one too large and one too small. My dad had to settle for the large home across the street from the hospital. Having grown up in Punta Gorda, I have a unique blend of knowledge and experience to assist you with the purchase or sale of your home. I have personally experienced the creation of Punta Gorda Isles as well as Port Charlotte. I truly love Charlotte County which, I am told, is evident when I am in the conversation about the area.
Joy, my wife of 37 years, moved here in 1960; thus, knows and loves Punta Gorda as I do. We live in Punta Gorda Isles and we have one son, Joshua. Josh lives in Deep Creek, and runs his own computer tech business, J Dibble Computer Service. We are avid boaters and have sailed our boats to the Keys, the Dry Tortugas, Cuba, and the Abacos to name a few ports. Currently, we have a pocket trawler, My Second Joy, an Albin 27AC which we take on Charlotte Harbor cruises and other local coastal destinations, such as Caladesi Island.

My Personal Philosophy...
My early banking career followed by my experience working with families to design their personal insurance programs ingrained the importance of being knowledgeable, extremely honest and understanding. When I work with clients I realize I am the professional with the strong local knowledge and I must go above what is expected-both before and after the sale.
On the Lighter Side...
When I have some free time, Joy and I will join friends and go listen to Charlotte County's local music ambassador, Jim Morris. Jim writes and sings most of his own songs (over 120 to date); those of you who like Jimmy Buffet should definitely schedule one of Jim Morris' performances at one of our local establishments into your visit to Charlotte County.
