Burnt Store Meadows was developed by Punta Gorda Isles, Inc., the developer of Punta Gorda Isles, Burnt Store Isles, and Deep Creek.  As with the other communities, Burnt Store Meadows has manageable deed restrictions, public sewer and city water.  Like Deep Creek, the Meadows is a "green belt" community meaning there is undeveloped property to the rear of each home site offering privacy.  This land is maintained by the Property Owners Association.  Each property owner pays an annual fee of approximately $95 to maintain the green belt.

Burnt Store Meadows is conveniently located to the south of Punta Gorda between U.S. 41 and Burnt Store Road.  Access to the five surrounding golf courses, shopping and I-75 is excellent.  Southwest Florida International Airport is less than 30 minutes from this community.

Burnt Store Meadows is predominantly single family homes with some smaller condominium complexes.  There are quite a few vacant single family home sites for sale.  Vacant single family lots are priced generally from $65,000 to $135,000 at the time of this writing.  Single family homes range from the low $200's to the high $400's.
