Seminole Lakes is a "maintenance free" gated golf and tennis community located to the south of Punta Gorda on U.S. 41. The term "maintenance free" means each homeowner with a single lot (some homes are built on more than one lot) pays $117 per month to cover the cost of the gate security, road & lake maintenance and lawn care. Homeowners are responsible for painting and other maintenance to their individual homes. The community is built out with 464 homes.
The standard home site in Seminole Lakes is approximately 100 x 50. All of the homes are concrete block and stucco, single story and have tile roofs. With a few exceptions, the rear of each home faces either a fresh water lake (the large lake is roughly 25 acres) or the golf course. The price range for homes in Seminole Lakes is from the mid $200's to the low $500's. Common transportation around Seminole Lakes is either a bike or a golf cart.
The Seminole Lakes Golf Club is an 18 hole Executive Course and it is semi-private. Residents have the option to be a member of the community fitness, tennis and swimming pool facility.
